My name is Scotty and I’m the proud owner of this website!!

Over the next few minutes, I’ll be sharing my life story with you guys.

Furthermore, I’ll reveal how I was able to go from an unemployed factory worker to building an online empire.

Moreover, I’ll share how someone with ZERO technical skills was able to build a massive online business.

As you see in the picture above, I’m at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

My buddy took my picture in front of the slot machine that I won $230 from.

More on this later.

I’ll also be sharing the many struggles and roadblocks that I’ve encountered as well over the past few years.

As well as, how I was able to deal with them and continue moving forward.

It doesn’t matter who you are, we all have a story to tell and here is mine!!

So Who Exactly Is Scotty Newkirk?

I’m just your typical down to earth guy who refuses to work for someone else his entire life.

Also, I refuse to build somebody else’s dreams instead of working on my own dreams.

Can you really blame me tho?

Ever since I graduated from high school at the age of 18 I knew there had to be a better way.

Instead of joining the rat race and living paycheck to paycheck like everyone else, I decided to take the road less traveled.

You might want to grab a cup of tea or your favorite beverage as things are about to get quite interesting.

I’ll be getting pretty personal with you guys today.

I’m sure many of you can relate to my personal situation.

A Little Insight Into The Life Of Scotty Newkirk

Shortly after I graduated high school back in June 1993, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life at that point in time.

It was because of this that I ended up working in the fast-food industry on and off for the next 7 years after I graduated high school.

Around the turn of the century, I finally got fed up with fast food and figured it was time to find a real job that paid better and offered more financial stability as well as better benefits.

In the year 2000, I got hired through a temp agency to work at the Longaberger Basket company located in Frazesburg Ohio.

Needless to say, I was quite ecstatic because this would be my first “Real Job” that I had got since I graduated high school 7 years ago.

After a few months went by, I had the chance to get hired on with the company full time.

WooHoo!!

At that point in my life, I felt like I was on cloud 9, seriously!!

Everything Was Fine Until This Happened

Things were going great for quite a few years and I was having the time of my life at this new job, that was until the company started having financial troubles.

You can probably guess what happened next, right?

The company downsized and laid off over 800 people within the next couple of months.

If you have ever worked for a factory/ distribution center before, then you know that the people who have been there the least amount of time are the first to be let go.

Wouldn’t you know that I was in the first group of people to be let go and I was absolutely devastated, to say the least.

So Where Did I Go From There?

Luckily, I did have about 3 years in with the company so I was able to collect unemployment while I waited for them to call me back to work so things weren’t all that bad, to be honest.

I did finally manage to get called back but unfortunately, it didn’t last long and before I knew it, I found myself back at the unemployment line and this started to get old really fast.

I had now started to look for work and I told myself it was time to move on cause I had a car payment and many bills to pay.

After filling out various job applications I found myself back at the temp services and working at the JC Penny Warehouse in Reynoldsburg Ohio.

The year was 2006 and I was thrilled to finally working again after over a year of being laid off and out of work.

However, if you have ever gone through a temp service before then you know that unless they really like you then your chances of getting hired on full time aren’t very likely.

Things were good for a while but after a few months, I found myself bouncing around from one job to the next and finding no satisfaction in what I was doing for a living.

After the temp services, I worked several jobs which include stocking shelves at a grocery store to running a video game trader and even working in the Walmart deli.

After the jobs I listed above came to an end, it wasn’t to long after that that I was finally able to end the madness and finally start to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

While I did end up working at Walmart for 3 years (June 2008- Oct 2011)

I actually loved it there for 2 and a half of those 3 years and made quite a few friends while I was working there so overall, this was one of the better jobs that I’ve had since Longaberger.

Back To The Distribution Centers, I Go

In Nov 2011, I started working at the Limited Brands distribution center making nearly $11.00 an hour as a seasonal associate.

Due to the fact that this was a seasonal position, there was lots of overtime available and this alone had me pretty stoked.

I kept thinking about all the money I was gonna make and ways I could spend it before I even made it.

Have you guys ever done this?

I’m sure that many of you guys out there can relate to this as you have probably done it or perhaps still do it today hahaha!!

Well, I quickly found out shortly after I started working there that the overtime wasn’t as abundant as they told us it would be and I didn’t make nearly as much as I thought I would.

Needless to say, I was a little bummed about this but at the end of the day, it is what it is, right?

Working between 45 to 60 hrs a week didn’t leave me much time to do anything else and by the time I got home in the evenings, I was pretty exhausted.

However, as tired as I was, I knew there had to be a better way to make a living and that this job was about to come to an end really soon.

On my days off and within the time I had off from work I found myself spending a lot of time researching ways to make money online.

What I Thought Was A Way Out

After doing a great deal of research I came across a company called Ameriplan which at the time seemed like my way out and an excellent opportunity.

In the past, I had fallen for many scams which made some pretty outlandish claims in terms of how much money I would make, but at the end of the day failed to deliver and I ended up losing a great deal of money.

Neverthertheless, I was trying to stay as optimistic as I could and hoping for the best with this new company.

The lady that introduced me to the company was super transparent and went out of her way to show me how everything worked and what I needed to do to get started.

I was convinced that this was my way out so needless to say, I joined and was ready to get to work.

Around this same time, my seasonal job had come to an end and guess what?

I was back at the unemployment line signing up for benefits all over again.

However, this time I had a plan and instead of just sitting around collecting a check, I put this time to good use.

The Truth About Ameriplan Comes Out

After going over some of the training and talking to my recruiter on a more regular basis I discovered that I had just joined an MLM company and I would need to call people on the phone and read from a script.

Due to my previous experience with MLM, I knew this wasn’t going to work and I started to get discouraged about my whole plan.

I did manage to stick with this company for 2 months and give it a try to see if things would be any different this time around.

After reciting the phone scripts several times and practicing my lines before calling up potential prospects I was ready to tackle this and make some sales.

To make a long story short I had more people hang up on me or not even answer the phone than people who did.

Needless to say, I made 0 sales and thought I would do some detailed research on this company before I went any further.

What happened next is something that completely changed my life and if it wasn’t for me doing this in depth research I may have NEVER discovered the business model that earns me a full time living today (2019)

What happened and what did I find after doing some thorough research on this MLM company?

How I Found The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

As I continued to do my research on Ameriplan I found quite a few people who weren’t at all happy with them and it seemed like the deeper I would dig for information the more dirt I uncovered about this company.

I eventually came to a site where this guy was sharing his personal experience that he has had with this company and how he despises talking on the phone (Just like me) LOL

I was instantly able to relate to him on so many levels and he seemed so down to earth that I instantly made a connection with him.

He told me how corrupt most MLM’s are like Ameriplan & he suggested a better way to earn money online that didn’t involve recruiting or selling to be successful.

He then went on to say that affiliate marketing is the way he makes money online and a legitimate business model that has been around for over 20 years now.

Wealthy Affiliate was the place where he had learned all of this and he told me if I was willing to work hard and put in a great deal of effort I could replicate the results he has had or possibly even better.

He also told me that this would in no way be easy as you’ll need to put in a great deal of hard work before you see any long term results with it.

At the time, I truly had nothing to lose so I went ahead and gave it a shot.

I told myself I would give myself a year to see any results and that I would give it everything I had and devote as much time to it that I possibly could.

Since I was still collecting unemployment benefits and didn’t have an actual job, I had all the time in the world to work on this and go through the training.

It Finally Happened (My First Sale)

After nearly 4 months of going through the training & implementing what I had learned, I finally made my first sale in the online world.

To be quite honest with you guys today, I was pretty excited when I got that first email notifying me that I had made a commission.

It was only $8 but to me, it felt like I had won the lottery and was on top of the world dancing.

A few days later like I was told from one of the owners of WA (Kyle) that more sales would eventually trickle in and he was right.

Within 2 weeks I had already made $56 and the sales continued to come in a little at a time.

I kept thinking to myself if I keep this up I wouldn’t have to look for another job once my unemployment ran out like I did so many other times.

Fast forward 6 months later & I was bringing in nearly $1,000 a month with my sales & income constantly rising and other opportunities for me to make even more money on the horizon.

This main purpose of this website is for you guys to follow along on my personal journey.

This way you’ll be able to avoid many of the mistakes I have made when I first started and get started on the right path to making legitimate money from home with a website.

The products that I personally promote on this website are the ones that I have put my seal of approval on.

Generally speaking, I don’t promote any type of product or service here that I haven’t tried out for myself.

This way I know whether it’s legit & something that I feel my audience could benefit from.

This website is about my personal experiences and geared towards helping you guys find a solution to the many problems you are faced with on a day to day basis.
