Survey Junkie is one of our favorite survey panels out there and definitely 1 that you don’t wanna pass up.
Over the years this survey panel has evolved from a low quality panel to one of the highest quality & most trusted panel out there that will pay you for simply stating your opinion.
One of the many things that stood out to me as I was researching this opportunity was their super low payment threshold & the ability to get paid through PayPal.
Not to mention that their surveys are fun and interactive.

Armen has created a service that will enable you to use your voice to connect with some of the largest companies out there to help shape the world we live in.
What started out as a low quality/ spammy survey panel back in 2013 has evolved into 1 of the highest quality survey panels out there in the online world.
This company has undergone many changes over the past couple of years and here are a few that I can think of off the top of my head
- A completely new interface
- Walkthrough getting started tutorial
- Much higher quality surveys
- Not nearly as many screener questions
As I continued to do my research on this survey panel I was quite impressed with their new layout and even more impressed that they added a walkthrough tutorial to help newbies in case there is any confusion.

Getting started is pretty straightforward and you can be on your way to earning rewards with Survey Junkie in as little as 3 steps.

- Step 2- Complete your quickstart checklist
- Step 3- Complete your profiles 100%
If you have completed and checked off the 3 things listed on your quickstart checklist then you should now have 105 points.
80 points from your quickstart checklist + the 25 points you received when you first signed up.
This equals 105 points and once you have achieved this milestone, it’s time to raise the bar and start completing surveys so you can continue to earn enough points to cash out and receive your reward.
If you have completed step 3 100% then you should start to see multiple survey offers being presented to you on the home page that is similar to the ones you see below
There are still screener questions that you’ll need to answer as this is the only way they have to determine if you’re the person they’re looking for or not.
One of the many things that they have improved upon is that you will still get points even if you don’t qualify for many of their surveys.
This is a much-needed addition and I was thrilled when I discovered that they had recently added this feature.

As I continued to search the web looking for info on this site and trying to gain some insight into what other people had to say about their experience with this company, I was presented with the following information.
As you can see from the screenshots above there are many people who have had an awesome experience with this survey panel and they would highly recommend this to other people.
While I don’t feel like any product or service out there is perfect in any way, shape, or form.

Once you have started to rack up the points by completing surveys and doing various tasks throughout the community you’ll start earning points.
Each point is worth 1 cent.
For example, if a survey pays 100 points then this means that you’ll get paid $1 for completing it and successfully qualifying for it.
Not bad if you ask me, especially since I can remember taking surveys back in the early 2,000’s and getting paid mere pennies for my thoughts.
Smh!!
In order for you to cash out and receive your reward, you’ll need to acquire at least 1,000 points first.
The main way you earn money here is by completing surveys.
However, from time to time they do have a few additional ways for you to boost your points and earn additional income from this site so you don’t want to miss out on this.
How Do You Get Paid?
There are actually a few different ways for you to receive your earnings and I’ll be listing these for you guys below.
- PayPal
- Bank Transfer
- Gift Card
As you can see from the screenshot above, I don’t exactly have enough to cash out just yet as I still need 300 points before I can request a payment.
If you’re anything like me, then you prefer having everything go to the same place so you can keep track of where your money is coming from and how much to expect each month.
If you have a PayPal account and would rather have your earnings sent to your PayPal account then this option is available to you.
For those of you who would rather have your earnings sent directly to your bank account then you would need to choose the bank transfer option when cashing out.
You would need to set this up and enter your banking details within your payment settings on your profile page.
If gift cards are more your thing then you have the option of being rewarded with gift cards and these will be sent to the email address you used when you signed up.
Due to the fact that the rewards are usually sent out instantly (minutes after you submit them), you should see either cash money in your account, or digital gift cards showing up in your inbox within no time.
My Closing Thoughts
If you’re looking for a legit survey site that respects your privacy and won’t sell your info to other shady marketing companies then you should definitely check out Survey Junkie for yourself.
Since they mainly specialize in surveys and don’t offer any other type of rewards then you may find challenging to reach the $10 payment threshold.
However, if you’re persistent enough and you complete surveys on a consistent basis then you’ll start to earn more per survey.
I actually was able to earn nearly 200 points for a survey I took a while back so these points will definitely start to add up after a while.
If you’re the type of person who enjoys taking surveys and getting paid for your opinions you can add SJ to your list of sites that are legit and actually pay.
